Hey, y'all! It's Maureen G. Mulvaney, MGM, the number one rated school nutrition speaker and cheerleader.
Yay! And I just came back from my walk with my dog, Shamrock, and I had this overwhelming feeling to want to share something with you that very few people know.
As a matter of fact, only a few people outside my family know this, because everybody always sees me as being so happy all the time and Lord of mercy I am.
Happiness is a choice.

Is it? Maureeen believes if you just say it and want it, it will happen and it is true.

I truly believe happiness is a choice but everybody's got something and I've had my somethings and so I'm going to let you take a peek into my life and share a story with you.
You see I always wanted children so I did what everybody else did.
I got married.
My husband and I so desperately both wanted children.
It was great until I couldn't have children.
I still wanted to go ahead and maybe adopt, but he was very opposed to that.
So our marriage ended.

This is the setup for the rest of Maureens life.

Then I did what I always do.
Instead of getting upset, I put my head down, I'm goal oriented, and I went for success because I figured if I focused on that, I wouldn't think about having children.
And I did.

Repressed feelings always come back. She just redirected her frustration to what she believed was an attainable goal. This has become Maureen's obsession.

I went from being a teacher making $20,000 to an entrepreneur making six figures in less than a year.

Don't let her fool you, she was never poor.

It was working.
But I couldn't throw this feeling, this hole in my heart that I wanted and needed to have a child.

Obsession. So buy one? You can't buy love.

Because I had come from such a loving home and I had the skills, I had the money, I could do what I needed to do.

When married to her daughter, even her daughter didn't know about Maureens family life as a child. Does anyone know Maureen?

So like everything else, I put my head down, I'm goal oriented and I went right for what I wanted.

Recurring theme. It is always about what Maureen wants.

And in Phoenix, Arizona it was difficult back then because no single people could adopt.
And yet I was one of the very first people in Phoenix, Arizona to be allowed to adopt.
Because it's difficult in the United States.
I went overseas.

Maureen's first adoption was from Cambodia. That child died.

I went to Vietnam and I fell in love with a little child named HUONG THI THANG DUONG whom I immediately changed her name.
She was two years old and changed her name to Mayre, which was a combination of my mother's name, Marie and re so that she'd have a connection to my mom.
Middle name G I E, which stood for God is everywhere and Mulvaney.
So I finally had my little MGM and we were thrilled.

Oh my gosh, we were inseparable.

Not true. Only until Mayre was old enough to have a mind of her own... It's not about WE, it's about Mimi.

We did everything together.
And I'm not saying mamahood was non-challenging because it was, but like I do everything.

I put my head down.
I'm goal oriented and learned to be the best mama I could, supporting could supporting and nourishing my child through all of her struggles and challenges.

She fails to mention sending Mayre to reform school, kicking her out of the house... giving up on her.

And when she met the man she wanted to marry, I had great reservations about this.
But once again, I put my head down and I went after what I wanted.

Went after what "I" wanted is correct.

And so I helped her by nurturing her relationship and supporting her relationship, even though I might have been opposed to it.

She was never helpful.

And sure enough, she gave birth to two incredible human beings, ~~REDACTED~~ and ~~REDACTED~~, the loves of my life.

Maureen was thrilled when a girl was born. Maureen was furious when another child was due and was a boy.

But it didn't take long for the marriage to disintegrate.

Maureen encouraged Mayre to work on divorce once the little girl was old enough to satisfy her obsession.

And it was an extremely ugly divorce that I helped her out of because I knew it was difficult.

Maureen "helped" by paying for a lawyer Mayre couldn't afford. Mayre was going to pay Maureen back every penny. In the mean time Mayre would have to live under Maureens supervision. Controlling and manipulative. Mayre decided to settle the divorce because she was starting to see Maurees ploy. Would this make Maureen angry and vindictive? Next up, projecting...

After the marriage ended, the court ordered that we get half the time, make it Mayre and I shared half the time with her ex, who was very angry and extremely, extremely vengeful.

"We get half the time?", This is Maureen leaking her goal to comandeer the little girl.

But we made a goal and of course, like everything else, we put our head down and she and I remained positive.
We remained happy and we loved them through everything because they were only two and four when this happened.

And sure enough as she went on the marriage had disintegrated because there was domestic abuse in the marriage...

Accusations? Yes. Actual Abuse? Never. Check anywhere online in the social media groups and you'll get the playbook to setup your future ex-husband for domestic abuse.

and so I was doing everything I can to help rebuild her self-confidence and get her back to where she was before she married him.

A quote from Bailey Schulte to Mayre, Mayre's best friend, "You'd be dead by now if you didn't meet him".

And her doctor put her on a medication called Klonopin to help her with the depression and help her sleep better.

Which Mayre couldn't afford and Maureen would not help pay for. Mayre still owed Maureen from the cost of the divorce! Keep reading below for more insight into this. Mayre's last words.

Then on 16 September 2019, my sweet natured, smart, loving, only child child committed suicide.
It was such a shock.

No, it was not.

You can see obviously, I'm still not over it now.

Maureen got over it immediately and called the lawyers... remember, angry and vengeful? Maureen still wanted the kids.

Everybody knows that I'm a crybaby, and so I cry easily.

If you have to say it, it might be acting?

But the love of my life was gone.
And you know, Klonopin, I didn't know at the time, has got great ability to create suicidal ideation, but I didn't even want to spend any time on that simply because my baby was gone and no amount of reliving it or trying to bring her back was going to work.

And here is Maureen letting you know that Mayre's suicide was NEVER HER FAULT. Mayre was suicidal when I met her. She just hid it well. Bailey knew it too. How Maureen treated Mayre through her life is what led to Mayre's suicide.

And so I'm telling you all of this because it is difficult and I really don't have a a great piece to say well if you do this but all I can say is that for me I know the only way out of this and through this is to be more loving more kind more empathetic.

Legal action is loving and empathetic?

My hero Mother Teresa always said let's stop judging because when you judge you can't love.
So we need to love more, not less.
Love those that are causing us aggravation and pain.
Love them and love them and love them.
And so my intention was not to shock you.
My intention was to let you take a peek into my heart and into my life and know that now, even in business, I want you to know what I have learned is love, love, love.

Unity of Tempe is Maureens non-profit which she is President and CEO. The flyer also requests donations for the children. A "Success Fund". She is soliciting the members of her Spiritual Center of which she is President.

So, where in the world is Maureen going to get another daughter to try and successfully raise? That's right, she wants my daughter. She has engaged in the worst of slander and lawfare to try and relieve me of my daughter. Tens of thousands of dollars have been spent on this. Taking money from the children, for the children?

Maureen likes to involve herself in everything. Believe me, I know. So, how much of this disaster was she involved in? How much did she know? As I recalled earlier, she never mentions where she taught or practiced? Did she help create or provide guidance to these organizations? I don't know.

This is from what I know from Mayre:
When Mayre was young and controllable, she had a decent life. It was when she got older and had her own opinion that she got shipped off to Spring Creek Lodge Academy. Upon reaching the age of 18, she was told to join the Army or get out. So, she got kicked out.

After Divorce

When we eventually settled, I went to great lengths to set Mayre up to be able to take care of the children when they were with her. It's documented in the settlement decree. I provided everything from furniture to silverware. I helped her get into an apartment. When Mayre commited suicide, Maureen cleaned out the apartment. She took everything. That includes everything that belonged to the children. Maureen provided nothing for her.

Mayre had gone through some harrowing experiences in her life with the Spring Creek Lodge being very significant. I can only imagine what her home life was before that to be sent there. She would never speak of it to me, ever.
In her final words, she admits there is no one to help her. Not even Maureen Mulvaney.

Litigation (Lawfare) and Business

Family court serves a purpose. I believe that. However, when the punishment is the process, I believe something is left to be desired. This is a problem when the person brining the claims has a vast amount of money and you don't. Representing yourself is a fools errand, so you get a lawyer and defend. You go broke defending, but the aggressor does not. Where is the justice in this? Family court is not about justice. It's about the best interests of the children or when there are no children, equitable outcomes. That's it.

I had attempted to divorce Mayre amicably. Maureen agreed to provide funding for a lawyer for Mayre and things got ugly. It didn't have to be that way. When Maureen told Mayree she would have to pay her back, Mayre told me how Maureen was treating her and the children. We settled. Maureen did not like that at all, and cut Mayre off.

As you can see in the firing letter, Maureen was not happy about not being involved in decision making. Of course it's all about the children. It's a conspiracy! In the end, Maureen could not 'fire' Shannon. Read her letter to the attorney. Of course Maureen has a trust. Susan, and Paul are the only beneficiaries of her trust. Mayre was 12 years old yet did not warrent a post as beneficiary. I guess she wasn't family. Then what was she?

About 02/20/2023 through 03/18/2023 - Maureen has a police detective in Mesa, Arizona investigating my children as missing and are in grave danger. Spoiler alert. The children are with their Mother. The detective is informed about the doxing and harassment, but declines to do anything about it.

This is not true, Maureen petitioned for full custody (Page 8, Item 23).

Prosecutors in both cities decided that the matter should be resolved in family court. That did not stop Maureen from consuming the time of five seperate police officers in two seperate jurisdictions. In officer Tatum's report it should be noted that "MAUREEN HAS REACHED OUT TO THE FBI, STATE DEPARTMENT AND THE AMERICAN EMBASSY LOCATED IN THE PHILIPPINES."

Knowing full well the children were out of the country, on May 23rd 2023, Maureen called in a welfare check welfare check to my address in Kentucky. The officers thought it was odd, especially when she knows they are not in the country.

Maureen lives in Arizona. I live in Kentucky. Maureen just decided to drive by my house in Kentucky. She drove by 3 times (had to turn around mid block the first time). I am hudreds of miles from the nearest Metro area. She didn't just accidentally drive by my house.

On June 14th 2023, the first time she goes by at 10:30 AM. She goes down the block and turns around. I don't think she knew I was on the porch. Video? Why? Creeper.

The second time, also June 14th 2023, she goes by at 12:55 PM. She comes down the block and WHAT IS SHE DOING? More Video? Why? Total Creeper.

Maureen just loves to let people know she is watching. This video below is her back in 2017 during the divorce with Mayre when I went to talk to her neighbor about what was going on with Maureen. Boy did I get an ear full.

I heard about all the times the police came by. I heard about Maureens sordid past. Her divorce. I'll leave the hearsay out.

Just Plain Creepy and Disrespectful

Maureen tracked down the children's school in the Philippines. On March 18th 2024, Maureen sent an email to the childrens school claiming she wanted to make a donation to their school library. Sounds like a bribe to get access to the children to me.
On December 5th 2024, Maureen shows up at the childrens school in Ormoc City, Philippines, unannounced, making demands. She was brought to the school by her attorney. Again she attempted to visit with the children without consent or a prearranged agreement. Maureen insisted that she be granted access to the secure school grounds, confronting the security guard and demanding that it was her court ordered right to see her grandchildren. She was denied. She did not have parental consent. Again she attempted to give gifts (bribe) the school and again was denied.

We are made aware that we will need Mayre's death certificate to proceed. Maureen refuses to produce even a copy of the death certificate and never does. That's cool. We got one from the Court.

3/31/2021 - Step-parent Adoption

Maureen receives a request from my lawyer to her lawyer, still fighting her over custody, to get Mayres death certificate so my wife may adopt the kids. Maureen doesn't want the adoption to happen, claiming it is too traumatic for her. I guess that would be a problem if she is seeking full custody of them.

1/30/2023 - Maureen Email

Maureen threatens mediation. This is the catalyst that drove my wife away, taking her children with her.

2/03/2023 - Children and their Mother gone. My family has been divided.

Maureen has the police at the AZ house Friday night and then back again Saturday morning. She wants me to produce the children. I repeatedly tell the police the children are not in AZ, not in the USA. Saturday morning, Maureen stands in the middle of the cul-de-sac in all her glory for everyone to see.

2/05/2023 - Doxing Begins

Maureen and her sister Susan start a doxing campaign on facebook and eventually Constant Contact claiming the children are MISSING.

2/11/2023 - Maureen Doxing

Maureen published a constant contact campaign (see PDF above) with identifying information about everyone in my family, including the children. She asked people to track us down and to report our locations. Maureen put the children at risk.

5/23/2023 - Welfare Check

Knowing full well the children are out of the country, Maureen called in a welfare check on the children to my address in Kentucky. The officers thought it was odd, especially when Maureen knows they are not in the country let alone Kentucky. This is just plain harassment.

6/14/2023 - Maureen Surveilling

Maureen decided to make a trip to Kentucky and decides to not only drive by my house 3 times, but also take video as she drives by. Still Surveilling. This is harassment.

6/27/2024 - June 27th 2024 Judge-Orders (PDF)

In Orders issued on June 27th 2024 by Maricopa County Superior Court, in the State of Arizona, U.S.A., Judge Lisa S. Wahlin specifically states:

“Father attempted to communicate with Grandmother on February 3, 2023 regarding visitation. In Father’s text string with Grandmother, Father states “I have repeatedly offered to talk to you but you won’t call.” On February 4, 2023, Grandmother texted Father, telling him that “I’m here to pick up Matthew for our court-ordered visit.” Father responded, stating that the children “are not here.” Father then asked, “Do you want to talk?” Grandmother did not respond. On February 11, 2023, Grandmother texted Father and asked why Father was preventing her access to the children. Father again stated, “You are always welcome to call me.”

The Court is concerned by Grandmother’s actions regarding the children’s move to the Philippines. As noted above, Father offered to speak with Grandmother but Grandmother did not accept the offer. Father also informed Grandmother that the children were in the Philippines with Mother. When Grandmother asked, Father provided texts messages showing the children sightseeing. Nevertheless, Grandmother posted information online that was incorrect and invasive. The information posted on the internet was inflammatory and misleading, and intimated that Mother and Father had unlawfully absconded with the children and the children were in danger. (Ex. B13 and Ex. B15). Also concerning is the video that Father presented during trial, which shows Grandmother slowly driving down Father’s street in Kentucky, despite the fact that she is aware that Mother and the children are in the Philippines.

The Court is also concerned with Grandmother’s interactions with the children. In reviewing the video, the Court noted that Grandmother made no effort to validate the children’s feelings. Specifically, when the older child stated, “We don’t want to talk to you,” Grandmother responded by stating “Oh, baby, I know that’s not you.” The child stated twice that she did not want to talk to Grandmother, and the second time she expressed that she did not want to talk to Grandmother, the child’s voice showed annoyance. When the child told Grandmother that she did not want to talk to her, Grandmother inappropriately laughed. Grandmother addressed the younger child, who also stated, “I don’t want to talk to you.” Rather than asking the children why they did not want to talk to her, Grandmother invalidated the children’s statements. Grandmother showed no desire to understand why the children stated that they did not want to talk to her. Similarly, Grandmother does not honor Father or Mother’s wishes.”

9/24/2024 - Settlement Offer - MaureenMulvaney_Letter for the Olesens (PDF)

MAUREEN G. MULVANEY via her legal counsel, CHARMAINE JOY V. LUMBRE, sent a settlement offer letter via Email to ILYN O. OLESEN and DAVID C. OLESEN in which she stated:

“(As their grandmother, she has named them as beneficiaries in her will. She wants to ensure that the children can be easily contacted should anything happen to her. This is a precaution driven by her desire to secure their future, even after her passing. Ensuring that Ms. Mulvaney is aware of their location is a simple way to safeguard their interests.) “

“OPTION 2: Ms. Mulvaney continues her Legal Efforts to Regain Video Calls and Physical Visitations with her grandchildren in the Philippines

Ms. Mulvaney will continue her legal efforts to enforce her grandparent right to video calls and physical visitations with Mikayla and Matthew in the Philippines.

She recognizes that to fully maximize the rights granted to her by the Court of Arizona, she needs to be near her grandchildren. And so, she will consider a move to the Philippines which will allow her the ability to be physically present in court so she can continue her efforts to regain her legal right to make-up video calls and physical visitation with Mikayla and Matthew.”

10/21/2024 - David Olesen Arrives in the Philippines

Everyone Maureen is litigating against has left the United States of America.

12/05/2024 - Maureen shows up at the childrens school in Ormoc City, Philippines

Maureen showed up at the children's school. She was brought to the school by her attorney. Again Maureen does whatever she wants. Maureen did not get to see the children.

2/14/2025 - Motion to request the Court of Arizona to Certify the judgement for the state of Kentucky (PDF)

Maureen has decided to ask the judge in Arizona to certify the previous judges (LISA WAHLIN) orders. Well there is a new judge. A Comissioner (GREGORY J. GNEPPER), actually.As of August 24th 2025 the Arizona court has not responded to this request.

4/24/2025 - Maureen files a new Philippine Petition, CASE-NO-SP-CN-188 (PDF)

Maureen has filed a second petition in the Philippines to collect $1,979.00 and $978.66 for a total of $2,957.66 from the Olesen Family for payment of judgements. She doesn't need the money. It's part of her plan.

The Judge (FRANZ RAYMOND P. ASPA) has issued an order for Maureens attorney regarding compliance.

7/5/2025 - David Olesen speaks to the clerk of the court in Boyd County Kentucky

It seems the case in Boyd county has been closed, effectively putting the case in limbo without resolution. A request must be made to the judge to reopen.

7/25/2025 - Maureen's attorney has withdrawn from the Arizona case. (PDF)
